Welcome to IHSG
The origins of the International Herbage Seed Group (IHSG) begin with the formation of the International Herbage Seed Production Research Group (IHSPRG), which was started in 1978 following the 28th University of Nottingham Easter School in Agricultural Science.

The main objective of the IHSPRG was “to encourage cooperation and communication between workers actively engaged in herbage seed production research.” This has remained as the group’s primary mission for over 25 years. Our first IHSPRG newsletter was published in September 1979.
